The Euskadi Experience, or Basque Country Experience, is an exclusive one-night-only affair that will be happening at Basque Kitchen by Aitor, Singapore’s first Basque-centric restaurant. Chefs will be presenting a five-course gastronomic journey that features the finest produce Basque Country has to offer, attesting to their world-class culinary reputation embedded in its rich heritage. Alongside age-old recipes reinterpreted with modern culinary techniques and ingredient pairings, the five-course dinner will also be paired with a curated wine list from their in-house selection of over 100 labels of wines from Basque Country and the larger Iberian Peninsula.
The gastronomic journey to Basque Country will include dishes such as the Smoked “Bonito del Norte” or White Albacore Tuna; tomato and caviar paired with the fresh and sparkling Colet Navazos Extra Brut Cava, Penedes, 2008; and the Basque Country delicacy, Kokotxas, prepared from the fleshy chin of cod and hake, is served two ways in a pil pil sauce and paired alongside Rafael Palacios, Louro do Bolo, Godello, Valdeorras, 2010.
